Machining

  • By Wright Motorcycles

We have been enjoying the process of being a proper Workshop over the years.

My much loved KTM 380 EXC was made liquid so that I could afford a Hafco AL-335 in around 2005 and we have never looked back. A little after that we bought a Mill which added to capacity to get the job done!!

Our kit in machining includes a very expensive box of Valve seat cutters that have traveled Australia so that we could “in-house’ our repairs.

Fly cutting, facing, seat angle cuts and all sorts of special parts have been made over the years.

Excited today to receive our first CAD tool with a arrival of a 3-D printer. Hoping to be able to copy and pro-type a number of custom parts as time goes by.
